I bet a machine shop could make you one pretty cheap if all else fails

Hi List,

I need a part for a Baldwin M grand that the customer bought in 1998. It's
the brass hold down strap thingy that goes in the right hand cheek block.
It's not just the brass fitting like you usually see on a real grand piano,
but a sort of stupid strap spring that has a bend where the Keyframe locator
pin slides under it. Baldwin isn't producing pianos

in the US now, and they are now owned by Gibson. Their web site doesn't
even have a contact number for Baldwin parts. Any ideas how I can get this
part?

Thank you,

Jer Groot RPT
