Add a dash of normal dishwashing soap to your hot water and the adhesion breaks apart much quicker.

  David

I don't know what tool you're talking about, but have you tried soaking them? I put my dampers on a peg board rack, or even cut holes in a box, and then wet them down with hot water. The water soaks into the felts, which then soaks the adhesive off the heads. In most cases, the felts fall right off, but sometimes I have to use a knife to help them off.

Has anyone tried using one of the multifunction tools to remove grand damper felts which are REALLY stuck down?

  Best,

  David.
