I had a steel pedestal from a table on hand that I added to the bottom
of the wall jack for stability. It is overkill. If I made another I
would use two heavy duty steel shelf brackets and a 2 foot 2x 4  for a
base instead. If it were screwed together well it would be strong
enough.
