Will,  As Don said, you've got the confirmation, so what's the beef.  The
letter was generated with the assumption that you wouldn't pay prior to the
deadline.  THEN you made payment (effectively answering the letter).  So
no, you won't be dropped because you've contacted them and made payment.
When you take action in the 11th hour, funny things happen.
