You could then have told us the size. Remember that the turnbuckle comprises a left and right-hand thread. That bolt it still there, both of them are still with the turn buckle. I'm referring to the little nuts that hold the turn buckle in place once you adjust the pedal. I guess I should have taken the one bold off and matched it with a nut at a hardware store. I thought these little nuts that hold the turnbuckle in place were standard in size. That's why I asked this question. I wasn't being stupid as was implied with the quote, "A smart idea would have been..."
