[pianotech] Plate fixing question (that goes with those pics).

Here, at long last, are the shots of those plate cracks. I'm tempted to tape up the sides and pour glue in from the top (super-super glue ( fracture-resistant type) or super hi-test epoxy (from Epotek) but want some opinions on whether this seems fixable enough that the owner can sell the piano for a couple hundred bucks to someone with an assurance (you will NOT be quoted!) that it has at least some chance of being fixed and staying fixed. (On the next rebuild.) It is a heavily carved, beautifully made, Bush and Lane, so he doesn't want to just burn it.)
