Does anyone have suggestions how to "pre-age" a new copper-wound bass string? I have a customer with an antique grand that needs a new string, which I already ordered and received. I want to make it look dark and dirty so it won't stick out like a sore thumb when compared with its neighbors. Any suggestions?
