Just a quick plug for an excellent video that's available: "Non-Traditional Piano Use" by Alan Eder, piano technician at California Institute of Art in the LA area. Alan has produced a very useful instructional tool here that could be made available for any faculty or students interested in prepared piano. He covers all the basics in proper handling of the piano. Alan has shown the video at past CAUT Forums, so many of us are familiar with it, but I thought I would bring it up for any new subscribers to the list.
