Thanks very much.

Very well worth the time and trouble.  Those newer Mavica cameras are really
hot stuff.  The higher end model (used by an in-house production company here)
can take pictures with virtually no light - right at the edge of human 
visibility.
 From there directly to Adobe PhotoShop, and you are home free.

Also, I had never thought about using a table saw for modifying things like 
those
oddly dimensioned parts.  Leave it to Newton to have the answer immediately 
to hand.
