Fred, Product is CRC 3-36 CRC Industries 885 Louis Dr Warminster PA 18974 It seems to be a lot like WD-40 or Liquid Wrench, but the metals conservator at Williamsburg, who has both advanced degrees in both organic chemestry and conservation, says that this product is different and that it is very effective at stopping rust. It is designed as a lubricant. A 1/2 gallon will last you a very long time...mine is not the least bit rusty. Perhaps the company can supply you with more details.
