Baldwin G scaling problems?

Hi John,
          A thought that comes to mind, does the bass bridge have a
sweeping line with the bridge pins?  Some of the older Canadian pianos have
this type of bicord termination.
 The string lengths of the bicord can be as much as 7mm difference,
needless to say, they are not the sweetest sounding unison.  The only real
cure is to rescale and notch the bridge for even string lengths if possible.
 The inharmonicity of the partials can be wildly different, making tuning a
night mare.
  Just a thought to save you chasing a red herring.
