Mark, Use a glass bead blaster to clean (if you don't have one you should). A bit from Pianotek to debur the hole. Clean with lacquer thinner. Thin coat of clear lacquer to to prevent tarnish. Process takes about a half hour at the most, excluding removal and reinstall.
