buffing aggraffes?

Thanks Tim,
I found bead-blasting to leave brass looking dull, similar to steel-wooling,
nonetheless a nice finish in it's own right. However the vanity of my shop
employees require that they be able to see themselves in the reflection, so
we ended up buffing anyways!  :>)

Mark,

Use a glass bead blaster to clean (if you don't have one you should).  A bit
from Pianotek to debur the hole.  Clean with lacquer thinner.  Thin coat of
clear lacquer to to prevent tarnish.  Process takes about a half hour at the
most, excluding removal and reinstall.
