I happened to go to the Instrument Workshop web-page recently <www.fortepiano.com> and saw the note "String looping tools are available again!" They're a bit pricey - $50 to $100 - and I have never seen one. But I've always found those folks reliable, so maybe it's just the thing for someone who plans to tie a lot of tails with harpsichord wire. Regards, Fred Sturm University of New Mexico
