Hmmm. I just got done with a regulating job on a 1980 M&H B. No, not a BB, and it's not 7'. More like 5'4", but I didn't measure. I really liked that little piano when I got done with it! I did not notice the front bearing being steep like you mention. It regulated very well to specs, and the tone after voicing was warm and rich with very good projection for a piano of that size. The scale tuned beautifully. It's a shame M&H isn't still offering that model. A week later I saw it's twin listed on ebay with a Buy It Now price of $12K. If I'd only had some money.... Only thing is, action parts are no longer available for it. Yeah, they were in the old Tuners Supply Catalog, but nobody including M&H has them anymore. I had to get a Tokiwa shank and flange to replace a freak accident, and it was different. The original flanges were thicker so I had to let the capstan way down to get blow distance, and then the jack/knuckle alignment was way off. It works, but you can't line up the jack to the back of the knuckle core. Maybe Wally Brooks or Renner offer a part which would be a better fit, but I was only ordering one shank. It's the 7 footer.
