Vodka -- vodka -- vodka     ................... a little bit, a bit less, 
and even less than that. Right where the hammer and the string collide. I 
find that if you steam hammers which have been needled at the strike point, 
even lightly, but several times, you will raise a ridge at the ends of the 
strike lines, and a sort of fluffy depression in between them. Vodka seems 
to cause less of this.
