Hi List, Couldn't resist commenting. I was one of the "two that didn't work out"..... THEY failed MY interview process by mis-quoting the salary over over the phone, and offering $9K less at the negotiating table. ( After I spent over $2000 travelling there with my family on short notice, so my wife could be part of the decision process)....but who's counting? :-) I'm amazed/shocked at the amount of money offered versus the skills/experience desired. I'm equally amazed at the money we settle for as technicians, after honing our skills for so many years. If this package is so attractive, there should be no trouble in finding a suitable person for the gig, right? Talk about a "new experience" ?? I've never been so glad to be self-employed, and running my own business. DO I sound bitter? Hope not, I just feel stupid for not sniffing this out over the phone in the first place. By the way, the other tech is Bill Schneider, an EXCELLENT technician. If it were not for the money issues, I would be honored to be working side by side with him!
