In the distant past I tried to rescue a Kranich and Bach grand that had among other difficulties lots of broken jacks. If I am ever asked again, I will pass up the opportunity, whether the customer "really likes the piano" or not. Problem # 1 was that neither the long arm nor the short arm jacks were right. This piano needed something in between, but I ordered a set of long arm jacks from somewhere--was it Tuners Supply? I decided to replace only those actually broken. Problem #2 showed up a couple of years later when some of the new jacks began to break at the bird's eye. (I've got the rest of the set somewhere and you're welcome to them if I can find them) Problem #3 is that the action was of poor design anyway and like all other K&B grands I have run into, did not work well and would not stay in regulation.
