Isn't Jason's site a great resource?

I have always used a Handel temperament when tuning for a Handel
performance. This temperament was published posthumously in 1780. My
reading of Jorgensen is that he feels the preponderance of evidence
tilts toward it being genuinely Handel's, though no proof exists.

It is, as given by Jorgensen:

A	+0.00
G#	-0.55
G	+1.72
F#	-2.58
F	+3.44
E	+0.08
Eb	+1.41
D	-0.08
C#	-2.50
C	+4.46
B	-0.78
Bb	+2.42=09

Authentic to the period? Check out the time line at Jason's site:

http://www.rollingball.com/TemperamentsFrames.htm

and you'll see that Werckmeister WT and Keller Meantone
were likely prevalent during his time period.
