Hi Les, I don't know about your area, but mine had immensley high humidity this summer--enough to overwhelm DamppChaser systems on uprights with a 50 watt bar. Of course this drove the pitch high. The end result now that the "cool" has arrived is pianos that are flatter than usual. You don't mention how much it was out previous years.
