[CAUT] Petrof tuning

Previous tunings (every six months) never varied more than 5-7 cents.
Houses here are central heat/air, and normally really locked down. Most
never open windows. Could two days in relatively low humidity, with no
heat or air, make that kind of difference?

Hi Les,

I don't know about your area, but mine had immensley high humidity this
summer--enough to overwhelm DamppChaser systems on uprights with a 50 watt
bar. Of course this drove the pitch high. The end result now that the
"cool" has arrived is pianos that are flatter than usual.

You don't mention how much it was out previous years.
