Hi Les, Think about where the tuning pin "flag poles". If you treat from below that area does not get "filled" up with the CA glue. I never use accelerants on CA glue. I have treated pianos with CA glue where the "pin dope" was no longer doing the job and it seems to work even better than by itself, so you might want to start with pin dope and if that fails--add CA later.
