Bob Marinelli had some carbon fiber sheets we were gluing to the sides of keys, it seemed to work well. i tried a few samples myself and decided i would usually sell a new keyboard for my own work. I have used shoes and battons or extended buttons ala John Hartman (don't ya miss his brain?) to good effect but generally a new keyboard helps other things too and is the way i go.
