Jim and Jeff, sounds awful Jim, but I have one that cost a few hundred =
dollars more, that is vented, and works quite well too. Chris Solliday

  Jeff,

You might consider a "ventless" gas heater. I have a 25,000btu heater =
in my shop that works well. It cost around $200.00. This puts moisture =
into the air and keeps the room (550 sq ft) at about 60% humidity. =
Cautions are that it is an open flame, it isn't approved for "living =
areas", it does pump a lot of water into the air, and some heating =
companies won't install them. Sounds awful, doesn't it? I love it.
