[CAUT] Cool Harpsichord website

Hi,

I think I read on his site that he left it on the reel with a wire
brake. He also said in the field he steps on it with his foot, trying
not to kink it at all. This may sound odd but when I'm in a room I tie
the end around a door knob...

Jim

Hey, Jim.

Well, that's a lot better than what I've been doing! But what's the
other end of the wire hooked to, that he's pulling against? Is the coil
in a vise or something?

Thanks,
Ken Z.

List,

A few years ago I asked (on caut) how to make hitch pin loops for a
harpsichord. Conrad taught me a method which I still use. Here is web
page with a video of how to do it, along with procedures for many other
things. This method is really slick and adds a few extra tips. Check it
out.
