They may have been referring to some fairly minor changes that seem 
to have been the result of changes in the plate between 
manufacturers.  These have mostly been spacing issues.  I do not 
think that there have been any official changes in the scales (at 
least of the magnitude that would make a difference here) since their 
introduction.

I think this is still correct.  To be sure, I would suggest getting 
in touch with Chris Robinson.
