Our recital halls are rented out to outside groups and yes, they pay for
the space and for use of the piano. If you have a good recital hall I
think it's considered good PR to let outside groups use it and see the
campus. We even have several music competitions here that use multiple
rooms and instruments. =20

Hello list,

=20

Does anyone currently working at a college or university know of a
situation in which that institution owns a large grand and rents it out
to outside parties? Or, charges rent on it when an artists visits and
performs either on campus or locally??

Any replies welcomed.=20
