Naughty boy, you must have been using it for a hammer <g>
Try grinding the ears off a ring that has the holes in the ends Thats what I
did, and DONT ask. If you can not get the ring on (or cant find the ring
without the holes) any mechanic will have the reverse ring pliers that can
get the ring on for you. It just needs to be the correct thickness to go
easily into the groove and fit tight on the shaft so that it will stay
on.Your calipers will be able to tell the correct size.
