Yo Mr. Brekne and Mr. Love, If you two simply MUST squabble and go after one another, how about taking it off list? I, for one, see almost no light and mostly smoke and heat emerging from the blasts you seem to enjoy sending at one another. Regards, Fred Fred... I agree entirely the comments thrown do not be on the list. But I do not see that I threw anything beyond a single <<grin>>. Otherwise I simply refused to bite but stood by my on topic statements. I dont enjoy any of the blasts thrown at folks. Kind of ironic really.. just three weeks ago in Helsinki at the Nordic I found myself defending exactly Mr. Love, and Mr Nossaman and other rebuilders of like or similar mind against the same kind of behavior. One of Europe's finest piano manufacturers leveled a vicious attack on rescalers and rebuilders who change even the slightest detail. He even used the name of a scaling program in his lecture. So I called him on it and challenged him to offer some topical reasoning instead of relying on ridicule. And I did so in public. Its in my blood to reject dogma... at least when it qualifies as being a point of view or tenet put forth as authoritative without adequate grounds. Even more ironic.... it is exactly this same impulse that seems to lay at the root of the <<opposing view>> in the present discussion. I don't see the need to disagree with such open and obviously conscious disrespect. Whats wrong with just plain not seeing eye to eye and staying friends despite ? And I don't see why some seem to be <<allowed>> just about any transgression and others are nailed the second they open their mouth in protest. Shoot... and we were all getting on really well for a good long while in this discussion. RicB -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
