That's a drag. Our remission doesn't have any restrictions (yet) but
they do make you pay tax on the tuition amount as if it was income...

meaning to interject the question of tuition remission into our
discussions of the benefits of a college job. Do you get tuition
remission at USC?

No. 





 

I should clarify that.  Employees can take up to something like 3 hours
per semester as long as there is space in the class.  But nothing for
family of the employee.
