[CAUT] Bechstein action

You need it when???  (Familiar question..)  It sounds like pretty short 
notice to get the tool you will need if you plan to adjust hammer 
height/blow distance.  It looks like this, FYI.:

A word of caution - trying to make anything more than minor adjustments 
on this action without this particular  offset screwdriver can be 
crazy-making.  You can find more info on this tool at:

As far as removing the stack goes: yes, as Jon points out, it is fairly 
straight forward.  However,  be sure you have done everything you need 
to do before you replace the stack, as it is a bit time consuming to 
re-connect all the abstracts to the rockers.  You don't want to be 
pulling the stack more than once when servicing this piano.
