I was chatting with the institute carpenter the other day.  When he was hired, it was partly because he had the required TWENTY years experience.  Compared to that, the mere three years required by MTSU doesn't seem like much to ask for.

Technician

The MTSU School of Music seeks 
applications for a Specialist/Piano Technician with a full-time administrative 
appointment with benefits.  Duties 
include tuning, regulating and voicing 60 keyboard instruments, managing the 
keyboard inventory, and possibly developing and teaching a course in keyboard 
technology.  Three years experience 
in the field and a bachelors degree in music are minimum requirements; 
experience in management of keyboard inventory at a college or university is 
highly desirable.  The deadline for 
applications is April 15.
