John, I prefer Veritune. I have the VT100 and will probably get the software version as a backup. I do not like the stock tuning you pull up. What I do like is that you can choose your break points across the scale and then select a percentage balance between three different interval priorities which is automatically averaged between each breakpoint you select. I selected roughly every octave and get fine tunings the match my best aural tunings (even after that eighth practice piano at the end of the day).
