Aside from other considerations, it's just not FUN.

One usually can assume that a pianist will like the tuning,
providing that it stands up to heavy playing. They may not like
other things, though, and that is where the art comes in --
acceding to their requests in a way which satisfies them
but doesn't displease other pianists later, and all within
a time frame which is sometimes cramped.
