[CAUT] Steinway pedal back-plate screws

Hi All,

Regarding Steinway pedal hardware - does anyone have a supplier for the
fine-threaded round-head screws that are used to secure the pedals onto
the pivot rod via those back-plates (or whatever those plates are
called)? I'm not talking about the flat-headed screws that secure the
pedal pivot rod into the flanges on the back-side of the brass front
plate.

Chad at Steinway says that the new Steinway pedals are being made for
them with the screws & plates already assembled and individual screws
are not available from their supplier. Besides, the new pedals now
have a slightly larger screw holding this plate on... which is probably
a good idea given how easily the slots in the heads bugger and/or
threads strip when overly ambitious students tighten them!

Thanks,
Robert
