This evenings program included Griegs A minor piano concerto. I think its about my best work so far... Excellent recording done by the NRK sound technician. There is an intro from another program... then it goes to announcing the Grieg Hall concert program... with a little talk.. then an orchestra piece followed by the piano concerto. The Nett Radio applet has a slider bar in the upper right side of the window so you can fast forward to the piano concerto if you dont want to hear the whole concert... but BPO is a really fine orchestra. Norwegian pianist Håvard Gimse doing a rather special interpretation of the concerto. He is as about as good as they come... doesnt have the big world name... but he can most definitely hold his head up high among the best of them.
