[CAUT] Deskframe Felt

Can anyone recommend a good felt to replace the messy, disintegrating stuff
that Young Chang used for deskframes on 12-year-old Weber grands? We've got
four of them, and they're making a mess.

A few months back, I had ordered some Steinway deskframe felt, hoping to use
that. Nice, but it's not long enough. I ended up replacing the stuff on
one piano with very cheap felt, and that was a mistake -- it already looks
like hell.

I happen to have a 1/4 yard of Schaff High Quality Key Bushing Cloth
#321-1/2 Bulk (Thin), and that looks like it might be good stuff. Kind of
expensive, though, for this purpose. Or is that what's needed to withstand
years of rubbing? I was also wondering about some kind of re-stringing
felt, but not being a rebuilder, I'm not familiar with thicknesses, etc.
