While it probably would protect the slate floor, the marly itself (used extensively by our dance school) is readily damaged by many piano casters.

Could you put something over the slate while moving? I am thinking Marly floor, as in dance, a rubber-like surface that can be rolled out.

Does anyone have a mod for putting coverings/rubber/tire treads (B.F. Goodrich All season HA!) on the Hamburg casters.
The Architects ,in their infinite wisdom for beauty, put a slate floor on one of our venues.
Now, several years later, our B (casters) is/are causing chipping out the corners of the slate from the piano being moved.
Any assistance is appreciated.
