The problem with a newsgroup is that everyone and his dog has access to it
and there are subjects which I'm sure we would rather not discuss in the
open. As it is, the archives and this list itself are accessable to people
outside the craft, which in some respects is fine, but in others has me a
bit concerned. I'd LOVE to see a PTG only list.  As for a newsgroup, there
is always rec.music.makers.piano, where our technical posts seem to be welcome.

I'm using free Agent and swear by it!  Without it I wouldn't be reading
newsgroups much!  Apparantly the registered version does mail too, which
will make things easier.

I would suggest it would... if it's for members only then only members would
have access. A password could be your PTG member number.
