If you are finding notes drifting from where you wanted them to be then;
   You are changing the pitch of the piano upward. When changing the pitch in
any direction it will return 25% of the amount changed.
   A change in humidity will be evident further on up the tuning.
   Your tuning may not be as stable as you thought. The SAT can be most
humiliating in this regard.
   New pianos will go out of tune right under your hands.
   If plate screws are loose the tuning looses.

Pitch raising can be done in the 20 to 25 minute range if you stop 10 times to
pick up a new compensaiton factor and ignore unisons. The purpose of pitch
raising or lowering is to stablize the piano at a specific tension for a second
and much finer tuning. If the tension is not stabilized, the tuning will not
be stable as well.

It will take you more time to learn to use the SAT to your advantage. From
each experience you will learn something that will help you the next time.

If you have specific questions we will all chip in and help.
