 Even at institutions with good technicians, sometimes a performer
will simply
prefer the work of a specific tech. If you pay for it, I can't see
the
administration objecting. Buffalo has good people, if indeed that's
where

Get together with the other unhappy students, and put it in writing.
Create a paperwork trail. Is this tech a PTG member? Our local univ.
puts
the piano work out to bid, and we taught them to include RPT
requirements
in the bid requests.

	While some lawyers might argue that this is illegal, at least now
you have an opportunity to proove the effectiveness of such a
proposal.
