Hi, Mark. If you're concerned with authenticity when replacing strings on your old K&B I wouldn't worry too much about sloppy stringing. A few years ago I did an old K&B grand in original condition including all the strings. In two different places the factory stringer had crossed strings, in other words, the number 1 pin tuned the middle string of the unison and the number 2 pin tuned tuned the leftmost string. It left the factory that way and had been tuned that way ever since. What did I do? I left it as I found it! Authenticity, you know! Les Smith lessmith@buffnet.net
