Dear List....
As a reader in Canada, I have followed with interest, the ongoing discussion
about the piano - Cuba issue.
Our government, even with all kinds of problems and indecisions of it's own,
doesn't presume to tell it's citizens which countries they can visit etc.
My comment is not on the merits of your governments position, but on the use of
this forum to share your ideas.  As piano tuners/techs, we meet a lot of people,
with the worlds breadth of ideas, and i for one, enjoy the opportunity to
discuss everything from politics, education, religion etc with my customers. (
It does slow me down, but if I'm not in a rush, it's like a perc )  I appreciate
the chance to hear Your views on stuff as well as the technical content of this
group.

and.....

a few weeks back, I posted a question re Grand pianos, moving how to get them on
their left sides with only two movers.... is this possible.
Just after this, my IBM pooped out for a couple of weeks, and I don't know if
there were any replies.... If there were, I would appreciate them being
repeated.
