Hi all,
I just picked up a Franz Meyer Diagonal Grand. The straight side is at
an acute angle to the keyboard (about 60 degrees). It has 3 bridges, two
of which pass through a hole in the soundboard and attach to a bar that
is then attached to the bottom of the ribs. It has a strange action that
is sort of a cross between a square and modern action (somewhat like old
K&Bs). It dates to about 1900. The company was in Chicago. I've never
seen another one, how about you?

Curiously,
