a Baldwin damper noise

There is a screw loose some where, as in the lift lever flange or the
damper wire screw, or what do you call the thing the d wire screw
threads thru.  Of course the damper stop rail is adjusted, and all of
the screws are very tight especially the one above the offending
damper.

ps Flange screws may feel snug, but they may also be at the bottom of
the pilot hole.
