Yes Avery, wallpaper solution or vinegar.  Wet it and come back 20
minutes later  and peel the felt off. Run a dull knife edge sideways
like a scraper to scoop up the old glue then use a damp rag to get the
rest.  Allow an hour for the wood to dry or use a heat gun or hair dryer
to dry it quicker or your new glue joint won't be any good.
