Calling a layered soundboard "solid" is at best confusing, at worst, deceptive advertising. (Samick got into trouble with the FTC a few years ago over this issue.) Is the Wurlitzer spinet in question the model in current production? Ancott lists it as having a laminated soundboard, not (completely) of spruce. Larry Fine
