Dear list, Does anyone know if there is a book covering the American piano industry from like 1920 to the 1950's. The Dolge books kind of leave off around there. I am particularly interested in the Aeolian and American companies as to which piano designs were dropped, like Chickering and replaced with Knabe designs with Chickering names and how all the smaller companies were swallowed up like Haines, Wheelock, Vose, etc. Thanks.
