And communities work best when folks communicate. And folks communicate best when they know who each other are. At a certain level, to the extent that one is anonymous, one is not a member. With the number of "lurkers" and manufacturers on this (and other, similar lists), anyone posting anything puts themselves on the spot. Besides, what the Japanese know about piano building, they stole from the Americans, who stole it from the French, Germans and Austrians before them. So, it doesn't matter if you use treated felt, or rubber for knuckles - just 'fess up and admit to being human, too. Best to all.
