"F" clamps

I'm looking for suggestions for "F" clamps. You know, the 4" throat bar
clamps you use to, among other things, install soundboards. Mine are cheap
and feeble, and I'm tired of fighting them. I'd rather fight bigger, heavier
clamps that will do the job well, instead of just barely. To some degree,
price is an issue, but I'll pay what I have to to get decent clamps. Some
come with serrated bars and a multi-leaved clutch system. Others simply
wedge with leverage from clamping pressure. Having used the multi-leaved
clutch system, I think I would like the slide and wedge type better.
 
Anybody got any suggestions, favorites, cautions, addresses for catalogs?
